Dooms Day it is 2012
Well the day is almost over , got up late today as I slept late last night. Went to work after finishing my routine 2 cups of tea , came back and went to a family function. The day ended as yet another normal day and the world did not come to an end , we are still moving and breathing like the way we used to every minute and every day like we do. What I can closely relate the event is with any other new year function or the Christmas or Diwali function , it comes and it goes and the world moves on , the same , normal and just like yesterday , waiting for another such event in our normal and routine lives to celebrate.
What can make this whole thought interesting is that may be there was an event that could actually have led to rest , in peace of course, all the dooms day proponents and may be that we just missed that by just a whisker , may be all those obituaries that we will see in the newspaper tomorrow are the victims of that event and we , who are reading all that are just saved by - luck , gods grace or what so ever we believe in and even if the above said might not be true , just think about this ...might be ? Then this one day 21/12/2012 - where Mayans ended there calendar, will become a day where we all can start living a new life , the life which we might not be living but want to , and think that we just came back from the dead to start living ...and be thankful for this opportunity called as life given to us and start completing our bucket list ...
Taking a moment back and thinking will make the day,that just passed by, not just a mere event but an event of utmost significance , designed or planned not for doom but for making us realize about the doom and how close we were and how lucky we are :)
